"All who are thirsty, come for water, and those who have no money, come buy and eat; come, buy wine and milk for no money and for no charge!" (Isaiah 55:1)

Rabbi David Kimché ("Radak") explains: "At the end of days the nations will recognize that G-d and none other rules over all, and then they will come to Jerusalem to learn His laws and teachings… Water is a symbol for the Torah. Those who have no money need not worry, for they will be given wine and milk without charge. The Torah is compared to wine, which brings joy, and to milk, which sustains and makes the baby grow."

Moses said: "See, I have taught you statutes and laws as HaShem has commanded me" (Deut. 4:5) – "Just as I learned without charge, so you too have learned without charge, and likewise when you teach the generations, teach without charge." It is a mitzvah to teach Torah free, without charge. (Nedarim 37a; Rambam, Hilchot Talmud Torah 1:7)

Internet and other media provide endless free resources and information (as well as plenty of disinformation) in every sphere. Should access to authoritative Jewish teachings be restricted only to those who can pay?

While some of our students contribute regularly, many are facing severe economic hardship, illness and disability and are often unable to contribute more than a little, if at all.

Clearly part of the Divine Plan is to give merit to the better-off through their support for Torah study by those who cannot afford to pay.

All established Yeshivas depend on charitable support.
AZAMRA ONLINE TORAH is highly cost-effective, reaching many thousands who could never attend a Yeshiva, yet its overheads are minimal compared to the funding required for large facilities.

FROM JERUSALEM TO THE WORLD:

ONLINE TORAH FOR ALL
AZAMRA
's website impacts Jewish and Gentile students throughout the world, who can listen at home to classes from Jerusalem and advance in their studies through email and live chat with rabbis and teachers in Israel.

We need urgent support to maintain and develop this website to enable students throughout the world to participate in online study through streaming audio classes and interactive live chat.

HEALTH FOR OUR CHILDREN
AZAMRA distributes educational literature, working with students, parents, rabbis, doctors and teachers to promote preventive healthcare in the Torah-observant community in Israel and the Diaspora.

We need financial support to coordinate an international network of Jewish parents, rabbis, doctors and teachers promoting healthy lifestyle through schools, yeshivas and community centers.

HOPE FOR THOSE FACING SERIOUS ILLNESS & INJURY
Thousands facing illness, injury, terror and other life crises have gained new hope and joy as well as practical guidance through our inspirational booklets on healing and self-help.

We seek sponsors to subsidize inspirational booklets on self help and healing for distribution to hospitals and clinics, support groups, therapists and counselors.

Azamra means "I will sing" (Psalms 146:2)

"And the way to sing the song of joy is by seeking the good in all people, especially in ourselves. Each good point is one more note in the song of life!"

Rabbi Nachman of Breslov
